tommaso panerai

Italian-born creative director sculpting brand and visual narratives across continents. After the studies in Architecture in Florence, Italy and Cairo, Egypt, Tom built a career in branding, with advertising & in-house design roles across Europe and Asia. Now he splits his time between Toronto and Hong Kong, weaving together vibrant cultural threads into bold creative experiences.

He loves to bring stories to life via branding, activation, digital campaigns, e-commerce, TV commercials, and photo/video direction, combining art direction, design, copywriting, and production under one creative vision.
His experiences include creative roles at Publicis Hong Kong and in-house at Plaza Premium Group, leading HK global company in airport hospitality, f&b. Most recently, he had the unique opportunity to serve as Brand & Creative Director for the Gay Games 11 Hong Kong 2023, helping reimagine brand identity, visual experience, and storytelling for the first-ever Gay Games in Asia. From revitalizing the logo and website to shaping event-wide design and communications, Tom and his team channelled the Games’ spirit of “Unity in Diversity” into every visual touchpoint, in multiple languages, and supported by a group of incredibly hardworking volunteers from all over the world.

A Hong Kong native who has lived & worked in six countries across three continents, Rob has extensive experience managing some of the world’s top luxury brands in senior positions across hospitality, retail, financial services & real estate.

Before founding unbound, Rob was the global head of brand marketing & communications at Rosewood Hotels where he was instrumental in expanding the brand’s presence globally with a particular focus on Asia & China.

Previously, he was the global head of marketing for The Peninsula Hotels, overseeing branding, ads, communications, CRM, digital marketing & eCommerce. Rob has also spent 15+ years in Europe & North America – lastly with LVMH as the global marketing director for De Beers Diamond Jewellers; he has also worked for American Express in London as well as Monitor Group in New York.
